Wig Care Guide | Human Hair & Synthetic Hair

How to keep your wig beautiful for longer. Discover our care guide for human hair and synthetic hair with simple tips for washing, styling, storage, and daily maintenance.

HUMAN HAIR WIG

Your wig is made of genuine human hair and, with proper care, can retain its softness, shine, and quality for a long time.

WASHING

Wash only when necessary. Gently detangle the hair before washing and use lukewarm water.

Use a mild, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner suitable for treated or colored hair. Avoid rubbing or twisting the hair.

DRYING

Gently squeeze out excess water with a towel. Do not rub.

Preferably let the wig air dry on a wig stand to preserve the hair's quality and shape.

STYLING

Human Hair can be styled with a flat iron, curling iron, and other heat tools.

Always use heat protection and avoid unnecessarily high temperatures. Just like your own hair, Human Hair can be damaged by too much heat.

BRUSHING

Brush gently from the ends and work your way up. It is recommended to hold the hair closest to the scalp to reduce tension on the attachment.

PRODUCTS

Use styling products sparingly. A light serum or leave-in can be used on the lengths and ends when needed.

Avoid heavy or oily products directly on the lace, scalp, and attachments.

STORAGE

Store the wig on a wig stand or in a way that helps it maintain its shape.

Avoid moisture, strong sunlight, and heat when storing.

Hair Crush Tip: Treat your Human Hair wig as gently as exclusive, color-treated hair. Gentle care and less heat help the hair stay beautiful for longer.

SYNTHETIC HAIR

Synthetic hair is designed to retain its color, texture, and styling with minimal effort. Proper care helps the wig stay looking nice for longer.

WASHING

Wash only when necessary.

Gently detangle the hair before washing. Use cool to lukewarm water and a mild shampoo suitable for synthetic hair.

Do not rub, scrub, or twist the hair.

DRYING

Gently squeeze out excess water with a towel and let the wig air dry.

Avoid using a hairdryer unless the product is specifically labeled as heat-resistant.

STYLING & HEAT

Do not use a flat iron, curling iron, or other heat tools on regular synthetic hair.

On models labeled Heat Resistant, heat can be used according to the recommended maximum temperature for that specific product.

BRUSHING

Gently detangle the hair from the ends and work your way up. Preferably use a wide-tooth comb or a brush designed for wigs.

Avoid vigorous brushing as it can create friction and wear on the fibers.

PRODUCTS

Preferably use products specially developed for synthetic hair. Avoid heavy oils, hairspray, and products that can create buildup on the fibers.

STORAGE

Store the wig on a wig stand or protected in its packaging.

Keep it away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources.

Hair Crush Tip: Synthetic hair does not need to be treated like regular hair. The less unnecessary heat, friction, and product buildup, the longer the fibers stay looking nice.
